That cover is really cool, too. I was just at a writer's conference and one panel discussion covered the ways in which publishers are using the "decapitated head" covers more often to leave the image of the face to the readers' imagination.
I laughed out loud at that one!!

LOL! I felt like being a bit sassy this morning! This book has great wit along with some drama - a nice mix of each. I'm really enjoying it!
Karen - you're right about the cover. I think its a great technique too.
I usually adhere to the 2 sentences only rule - but those 3 together are pure comedy genius!

OMG! The narrator can drink the whole bottle! Can you imagine that phone call!?!
Interesting about the headless cover girl ... I've noticed a lot of "back of head" covers and figure it's for the same reason.
