My teasers today are from THE TRIUMPH OF DEBORAH by Eva Etzioni-Harevy.
The day that preceded Barak's attack had been a tiring one for Deborah, with numerous complaints shrilly voicing their claims. She had succeeded in appeasing them all, and they had left in contentment. ~ page 109
This is the first Biblical Fiction book I've read and I have to say I'm happily surprised at how much I'm enjoying it. I doubt this will be my last venture into this genre.For more teasers, click here.
Interesting teaser. I cant say I have heard of the term biblical fiction. I guess it is like historical fiction except deals with the bible.
ReplyDeleteI've never read biblical fiction, but the historical fiction I read is slowly going back in time so maybe I'll get there one day.Good teaser!
ReplyDeleteBiblical Fiction sounds like a fun way to read the old story but with a lot more characters and a thicker plot. Glad you're enjoying the book.

Oh, I love biblical fiction, but I haven't read many of them though. This sounds like something I should keep an eye out for!

ReplyDeleteVery cool, not the kind of book I'd think to pick up, but sounds like a great way to read a Bible story. Like having my kids watch Veggie Tales Bible stories! I might have to check that out!
